1. About Us
V.K. Catering Services is a FSSAI-licensed food vending establishment (Reg. No. 22421547000191) operating from New No. 29, Old No. 13, K.R. Koil Street, West Mambalam, Chennai – 600033, Tamil Nadu, India. We provide daily tiffin delivery and monthly meal subscription services in the Chennai metropolitan area.
2. Use of Our Services
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account or place an order
- You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and ordering
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- One account per person — creation of multiple accounts is not permitted
- VK Catering reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be misused
3. Orders and Delivery
- All orders are subject to availability and our kitchen's operational capacity
- Delivery is available only within our serviceable pin codes in Chennai
- Home delivery only — we do not accept walk-in or takeaway orders
- Estimated delivery times: Breakfast & Lunch before 8:45 AM · Dinner before 7:00 PM
- Delivery times may vary due to traffic, weather or other unforeseen circumstances
- If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the meal may be left at the door at your own risk
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion
4. Pricing and Payments
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) inclusive of applicable taxes
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice; the price at the time of order confirmation is binding
- Payments are accepted via UPI, debit/credit cards and netbanking through Razorpay
- We do not store payment card details — all transactions are processed securely by Razorpay
- Orders are confirmed only after successful payment
- GST at the applicable rate is included in the displayed price
5. Subscription Plans
- Monthly plans are prepaid and non-transferable
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Pause facility is available for up to 5 days per month; paused days are carried forward
- We reserve the right to modify subscription plan details with 7 days' prior notice
- Subscription meals are based on our daily rotating menu and are not customisable unless a specific plan states otherwise
6. Food Safety and Allergens
- All our food is 100% Pure Vegetarian and prepared in a FSSAI-licensed kitchen
- Our kitchen handles common allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten and sesame
- If you have severe food allergies, please contact us before ordering — we cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation
- Meal photographs on our website and app are representative; actual presentation may vary
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and app — including text, images, logos, designs and software — is the property of V.K. Catering Services or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VK Catering shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our services
- Delays or failures in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
- Health issues arising from undisclosed allergies or medical conditions
- Loss of data or access to our platform due to technical issues
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
